CUTTING-EDGE INK WITH 4-COLOR, 8-COLOR AND FLUORESCENTS.
The Texart RT-640 can be configured as a 4-color or 8-color device. In 4-color (CMYK) mode, Texart dye-sublimation inks produce velvety blacks and sharp details. In 8-color (CMYK+LcLmOrVi and CMYK+OrViFpFy) mode, the addition of Orange, Violet, Fluorescent Pink and Fluorescent Yellow inks produce an increased color gamut with both delicate and intense hues. Fluorescent Pink and Yellow inks can be combined with process colors (CMY+Fp+Fy) to produce an array of vivid fluorescents and soft pastel shades.
An advanced, 8-channel print head features efficient ink coverage that lowers running costs. Containing 180 nozzles per channel, it produces seven different droplet sizes for smooth color and gradations when used with Texart SBL3 inks that are 15% less per liter than conventional inks.
The Roland Ink System uses 1-liter airtight sealed pouches. When in 4-color (CMYK) mode, the system outputs 2-liters per color and automatically switches to the backup ink pouch when the primary pouch runs out. This proprietary Roland Ink Switching System provides a no-mess, non-stop production that leaves you free to work on other things.
RELIEVE TENSION WITH A SMOOTH TAKE-UP SYSTEM.
The RT-640 includes a feed adjustment function that combines with a TU3 take-up attachment to ensure a stable and uninterrupted production even in high-speed modes. The TU3 take-up system includes a front-mounted roller and tension controlled take-up unit for smooth media feeding and tracking. Its main features include a roll media support that holds 110 lbs. (50kg), a dancer roller for effortless take-up, auto media release and auto media rewind, and a rotating shaft face to decrease resistance and ensure flawless feeding accuracy.
ADDITIONAL ERGOSOFT RIP SOFTWARE MADE FOR THE RT-640.
ErgoSoft is one of the premier RIP providers in the dye-sublimation and textile market. They developed a Roland Edition of their ErgoSoft RIP Software to support the 4-color and 8-color print capabilities of the RT-640. Providing excellent high-speed RIP throughput and image results, ErgoSoft RIP Software features custom color replacement, superior dithering methodology, step and repeat functions, ink limit controls, scale and shrink correction and advanced print production controls.
